This exhibition explores how painting can still, today, connect us through the gaze — beyond words, cultures, and time.

Through my practice, I seek beauty in what is real: in presence, in light, in a gesture, in the fleeting intensity of a moment.

Outdoors, I paint from life to capture the pulse of the city.

In the studio, I work from models, delving into the depth of human presence.

Two approaches, one quest — to find living beauty where the visible meets the invisible.

For WAWi Gallery, rooted in the language of the street, this exhibition opens a dialogue with contemporary painting while keeping its essential link to urban life — where glances meet and beauty appears in a fragment of reality.

“Beauty in the Real: Universal Language” explores how painting can still, today, connect people through the gaze — beyond words, cultures, and time.Through this exhibition, Sam affirms a simple yet essential conviction: beauty exists in the real — in the presence of the other, in the light of a fleeting instant, in the trace of a gesture, in the immediacy of a moment.

His work is rooted in a dual practice:— Outdoors, he paints from life with realism, facing the city and its inhabited landscapes to capture the pulse of the world;— In the studio, he creates figurative works from live models, exploring time and the depth of the gaze.

Two approaches, one same impulse: to seek living beauty — the kind that emerges in the encounter between spirit and matter, between the visible and the invisible.Sam does not paint the street as a street artist would: he sets up his easel there to observe, listen, and engage in a dialogue with reality.His painting thus becomes a universal language — a way to express what connects all human beings: presence, emotion, and the moment.

For the gallery, historically rooted in street art, this exhibition represents an opening toward contemporary painting while maintaining an essential link with the street — that place where glances meet and beauty reveals itself in a fragment of life.

Cette exposition explore la manière dont la peinture peut encore, aujourd’hui, relier les êtres par le regard — au-delà des mots, des cultures et des époques.

Je cherche la beauté dans le réel : dans la présence de l’autre, dans la lumière d’un instant, dans la trace d’un geste.

À l’extérieur, je peins sur le vif pour capter la pulsation du monde.

En atelier, je peins d’après modèle, dans la durée et la profondeur du regard.

Deux approches, un même élan : celui de trouver la beauté vivante, entre le visible et l’invisible.

Pour la galerie WAWi, historiquement ancrée dans le street art, cette exposition marque une ouverture vers la peinture contemporaine tout en conservant un lien essentiel avec la rue — là où les regards se croisent, où la beauté s’invite dans une fraction de vie.

À travers cette exposition, Sam affirme une conviction simple, mais essentielle : la beauté existe dans le réel, dans la présence de l’autre, dans la lumière d’un instant, dans la trace d’un geste, dans l’instantané d’un moment.

Son œuvre s’ancre dans une pratique double :

— à l’extérieur, il peint sur le vif un réalisme, face à la ville et à ses paysages habités pour capter la pulsation du monde ;

— en atelier, il réalise du figuratif d’après modèle, dans la durée et la profondeur du regard.

Sam ne peint pas la rue comme un street artiste : il y installe son chevalet pour observer, écouter, dialoguer avec le réel.
