Painting in the hills of Jerusalem

In this workshop we are going to tackle some of the hardest subject matters, around Jerusalem there is the Jerusalem forest and many charming little villages/communities/neighbourhoods that are very pleasant warm and beautiful to paint, we will also be able to improve our understanding of perspective, how to transmit 3 dimensional large elements in to a small 2 dimensional surface.

we will work on the abstraction of the objects and how by doing so we will paradoxically create a more realistic painting.

The reason for this is the beautiful balance between nature and civilization, beyond that of course there is also all the historical and religious aspects to several of the places in which we will paint, however we will try to focus on landscape primarily.

Although we will paint mainly at mevasert Zion, Zur hadash, Hasatf, ain caram, moza elite and beit ziet, those who will be interested to go to touristic/historical sites will be more then welcome to do so.

Join me and a group of a few students , It will be an amazing life long experience captured in the very paintings/Drawings you create.

The teaching will be done mainly in English, but there will be translation to Hebrew and French as well.
