Weekend trip

Last weekend,

I went to visit  église de Varengeville-sur-Mer (a church and cemetery) where Georges Braque had made stained glass windows,

and where eventually he was Berried.

Unfortunately, the church is being renovated, which meant I couldn't go in to see the vitraux (stained glass windows).

I did however manage to go down to the beach with my small paint box  and make a few paintings,

I feel extremely fortunate to be able to walk in the footsteps of great painters like Georges Braque Edgar Degas, Gustave Corbet, Claude Monet

Peintre, Alfred Sisley, and many other great / painters on the coast of Normandy.
